Quality

Sugarreset Testing and Quality: What the Badges Mean

Quick answer

The Sugarreset label says it is made in the USA in an FDA-registered facility. Registration lists a factory with FDA. It is not approval, because FDA does not approve supplements before sale. The GMP, non-GMO and other badges come from the brand. No third-party lab report or certificate of analysis has been published that we can show.

The short version

What do the Sugarreset quality badges mean?

The badges describe what the brand says about how Sugarreset is made. Two of them match words printed on the label. The rest are marketing marks from the brand's image kit.

The label states: "Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients." It also states: "This product has been manufactured in an FDA registered facility." Those two lines are the quality facts we can quote directly.

Nothing on the label names an outside auditor, a testing lab or a certifying body. So we explain each badge, say where it comes from, and mark what we cannot confirm.

Badge by badge

Every Sugarreset badge, explained

Thirteen marks appear across the brand's sales material and packaging. Each one has a one-line plain-English note.

FDA-registered facility badgeFDA-registered facility

The label says the product is made in an FDA-registered facility. Registration lists a factory with FDA. It is not an FDA approval of the product.

Good Manufacturing Practice badgeGood Manufacturing Practice

GMP rules cover how a factory makes and records each batch. The label does not name an outside auditor, so treat this badge as the brand's statement.

Made in the USA badgeMade in the USA

Matches the label: "Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients." The ingredients themselves come from several countries.

Non-GMO badgeNon-GMO

A brand badge. The label panel we have does not print a non-GMO statement or a third-party certifier.

Natural ingredients badgeNatural ingredients

Most of the 23 ingredients are plant extracts or amino acids. The formula also uses preservatives (sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate).

Pure guaranteed badgePure guaranteed

A marketing badge from the brand's kit. "Pure" has no legal definition for supplements.

Doctor formulated badgeDoctor formulated

The label names no doctor or formulator, so this site cannot confirm the badge.

Gluten free badgeGluten free

Nothing on the ingredient list comes from wheat, barley or rye. The label makes no allergen statement.

Dairy free badgeDairy free

No milk-based ingredient appears on the label. There is no formal allergen statement.

Vegetarian badgeVegetarian

No animal-derived ingredient is listed. The label does not carry a vegetarian certification.

Five-badge strip badgeFive-badge strip

The brand's combined strip: GMP, FDA-registered facility, natural, made in the USA and non-GMO. Each one is explained above.

FDA

Does FDA approve Sugarreset?

No. FDA does not have the authority to approve dietary supplements before they are sold (FDA, Supplement Q&A). That applies to every supplement in the U.S., not only Sugarreset.

What the label claims is different. It says the drops were made in an FDA-registered facility. A factory registers with FDA so the agency knows it exists and can inspect it. Registration does not mean FDA approved the facility or its products (FDA, Is it really FDA approved?).

Wording to watch for

"Made in an FDA-registered facility" is accurate for Sugarreset. Any page calling the product itself approved by FDA is wrong.

Every supplement label also carries the standard line that its statements have not been evaluated by FDA. Sugarreset's label includes it.

GMP

What does GMP mean for Sugarreset?

GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practice. In the U.S., supplement makers must follow federal GMP rules for how they make, check and record each batch.

Those rules cover things like clean equipment, correct ingredient identity and written batch records. They are about process, not about whether a formula works.

The Sugarreset GMP badge does not name the auditor who checked the facility. Treat it as the brand's own statement until an audit report or a named certifier is shared.

GMP also says nothing about dose. A factory can follow every rule and still make a formula with small amounts of each ingredient. For the dose question, compare the label with the research on the Sugarreset side effects and interactions page, which also lists who should check with a doctor first.

Origin

What does "Made in the USA" mean on Sugarreset?

It means the drops are made in the U.S. The full label line adds "with globally sourced ingredients," so the raw plant extracts and amino acids can come from other countries.

That is normal. Maca grows in Peru, African mango in West Africa, and Panax ginseng in East Asia. Making the product in the U.S. does not change where its ingredients grow.

The label lists the distributor as Instituto Experience, Lakeland FL, 33804. It does not name the factory.

Lab testing

Is Sugarreset third-party tested?

We cannot confirm it. No third-party lab report for Sugarreset has been published, and none has been given to us.

Third-party testing means an independent lab, with no stake in sales, checks a sample. It usually confirms identity, strength, and limits for things like heavy metals and microbes. Some programs then allow a seal on the bottle.

What a useful test report shows

  • The name and address of the lab
  • The lot number that was tested
  • The test methods and the date
  • Results for identity, purity and contaminants

Until a report like that exists, we describe Sugarreset as not independently tested, as far as we can show.

Certificate of analysis

Can we show a Sugarreset certificate of analysis?

No. A certificate of analysis is a lab's report on one batch. The seller gives a CoA reference, SUG-3599-26-SU, but no lab letter exists that we can show. See Sugarreset batch verify for what the lot code can and cannot do.

Media logos

Why are journal and news logos shown near Sugarreset?

The brand's sales material shows logos of journals and news outlets. They usually sit next to general research about ingredients, not about Sugarreset itself.

Logos of International Journal of Obesity, NEJM, Nature, The Boston Globe and American Physiological Society
These logos come from the brand's sales material. None of these publications has reviewed or endorsed Sugarreset.

A logo is not a citation. We link each study we mention to its real source, so you can read what it tested and at what dose.

Photos

Who is the man in the white coat in Sugarreset photos?

The photo shows a model in a marketing image. The brand does not name the model, and a white coat in a photo is styling, not a credential.

This website’s medical reviewer is Dr. Svetlana Ten, MD, a physician named on the about page; the Sugarreset Editorial Desk writes the pages from the label, the seller’s brief and published research.

If you want a medical opinion on the drops, ask your own doctor or pharmacist. Bring the label so they can see all 23 ingredients. Learn more about who writes this site on the about Sugarresetbalance page.
